Guide · Void Ink Art

Berlin artists we show

Void Ink Art is a small platform for Berlin-based artists. We pick people whose work moves us, and give it a room where it can be seen, discussed and bought — inside a working tattoo studio in Prenzlauer Berg. Below is who we currently show.

Painters and draughtspeople

Berlin's painting scene is quietly one of the strongest in Europe — a mix of German and international voices working in figurative, abstract and everything in between. We try to show a slice of that, favouring people who paint like they mean it.

Photography and print

Editions, hand-printed photographs, risographs. Accessible entry points into collecting: signed, numbered, and priced so a first purchase isn't a life event.

Why Berlin

Berlin has been rebuilding itself as an art city for thirty years, in fits and starts. Rents, wars and gentrification test it constantly. Void Ink Art is our modest way of keeping local artists visible and paid — one wall at a time.

Working with our artists

Are all artists based in Berlin?
Most of them, yes. We focus on artists living and working in Berlin — that's the point of the project. A few guests from elsewhere appear during exhibitions.
Can I meet the artist before buying?
Often, yes. Many of the artists we work with are happy to talk about a piece, especially for larger works or commissioned pieces. Ask us and we'll arrange it.
Do you show emerging artists?
Yes — that's a big part of what we do. We're not a blue-chip gallery. Expect artists at the beginning or middle of their career, chosen because the work is honest.
How do artists get shown here?
Through the submit form. We reply personally to every submission, though not always quickly. Please include images, a short bio, and what you'd like to show.

Interested in an artist?

Message us — we'll set up a viewing, an introduction, or a private studio visit if that makes sense.
